A poem about my journey

In shadows deep, I found my light,

Courageous heart, against the darkest night.

From chains of abuse, I broke free,

For inner peace, my soul did plea.

Leaving behind security's grasp,

To find solace in nature's grasp.

Two years it took, to find my ground,

But in my healing, strength I found.

My spirit blooms, in nature's embrace,

Each step I take, a newfound grace.

Giving freely, my time and skill,

A beacon of hope, my warmth does fill.

No longer tethered, to tangible gain,

My altruistic heart, it does reign.

Reaching heights that seemed so far,

Becoming my own guiding star.

Though challenges may come, I will not fret,

For I am my own safety net.

In every stumble, I will rise tall,

With courage strong, I will never fall.

For I strive to be the best,

In humanity's tapestry, I will invest.

And with each act of kindness sown,

Happiness blooms, as my own.
