Setting up today's mood
In the morning, ask yourself, "Am I here on this planet, in this life, just to get through it or to enjoy it?" Take a moment to reflect.
When I wake up, before I do anything, I take a moment to ground myself and allow myself to be calm and relaxed. I am grateful to have slept and my body and mind is restored and healthy. Then I set my intention for the day by asking, "What direction do I want to go? Do I want to learn and grow? Do I want to just enjoy myself and have fun? Do I want to celebrate? What do I want to bring into the world today and what would I like to get out of it?" Whatever I decide, this sets up my mood for the day and I am mindful of my intention throughout the day.
As I do my work, activities and chores, I am able to enjoy myself and put purpose behind everything I do. My intention brings a sense of joy and lightness into my daily living which also affects the people who are around me. I am here on purpose and for a purpose. Every day is a gift and I am here to contribute, to share and express myself.
